The “Canons of Dort” is the 3rd confessional document within the Reformed Churches’ 3 Forms of Unity.

But sadly, the Canons are often seen as the lone ugly step-sister amongs the two Cinderellas of the Heidelberg Catechism and the Belgic Confession.

This is tragic.

The Canons of Dort are often maligned as “prickly” or “uncomfortable” document, but the reality is that such claims couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Not too long ago I led a Men’s Bible Study at my church focused on the Canons of Dort, and we all found the experience to be very uplifting and comforting!

Below is a link to the worksheets that we used to guide our reading and discussions. I would encourage everyone in the CRCNA or similar denominations to put the Canons to the test.
